For decades, John has performed for audiences from over 90 countries. He began in close-up magic and illusion, and went on to build his career across comedy, magic, mentalism and stage hypnosis. His comedy magic show blends dazzling visual magic, wry wit and captivating mind-reading that has people asking, "How did he do that?" John is also a master showman and hypnotist, and his comedy stage hypnosis show is a completely different night out, where audience volunteers become the stars and the whole room is in happy tears.

Most of John's career has been spent overseas, in theatres and hotels, on cruise ships, and at corporate events for clients who demand the finest in live entertainment. He doesn't claim supernatural powers. What he brings is skill, psychology and impeccable timing, with a genuine warmth that puts everyone at ease. Whether it's an intimate close-up gathering or a major stage, the result is the same: a room that is amazed, delighted and completely won over.

John is also acclaimed as one of Australia's foremost creators of magic. His original illusions, including the celebrated Suspended Animation, have featured in the shows of hundreds of magicians around the world. Suspended Animation has also been seen at the 2006 FIFA World Cup draw, in Disney's Magic Camp, and on America's Got Talent, Britain's Got Talent and many other major TV broadcasts and live events. Away from the stage, John consults on magic and creates original shows and illusions for events and professional productions.

His recognition includes three Merlin Awards, First Prize Australian Stage Magician of the Year, and Associate Membership of The Inner Magic Circle, London. His clients include SONY, IBM, Royal Caribbean, The Reef Hotel Casino and Huis Ten Bosch Japan.
